The process for recording hours for Act 48 credit allows particular workshop/seminar/conference to be counted more than once. This will create a false record with the Department of Education and may mistakenly indicate that you are further along in the process of accumulating hours than actually the case.

       When records are reviewed by PDE at the end of the five-year cycle, "doubles" that are listed will be disallowed and your total hours will be less than that shown.
