West Scranton High School

Principal's Message

February 21, 2002

" As we head into the third quarter of the 2001-2002 school year, I would like to commend those students who have worked hard enough to make the honor roll. For those students who were close, I'd like to encourage you to stay focused and to continue striving toward academic excellence. For the students who have been struggling academically, I encourage you to seek out the help of your teachers, parents and members of our peer tutoring program. It is not too late to turn things around for yourselves.
"I want to thank our faculty for their dedication and commitment to the students of West Scranton High School. Teachers hold the key to inspiring students to achieve at the highest level possible and our teachers go above and beyond the call of duty on a regular basis. It's the this type of commitment that will ultimately lead West Scranton High School toward successful achievement of our AFG goals."

Sincerely yours in education,

William F. King
Principal
